Love is patient

I am always looking for inspiration to lead me through the day. Life can be very trying at times and it can be hard to remember what makes us who we are.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves."

When life gets rough, you begin to capture what makes you who you really are. You have no "things" around you to divert the real you. What matters most in life are not the things we have, but the people we have in it. Being patient, kind, not easily angered and keeping no record of wrong is not something we should just be acting out in relationships, it should be the way we live in our current relationships. Not only romantically, in every relationship we have.

For me, it helps to remember things like this every day. I am very lucky to have the people in my life that I do.

Love makes us all do strange things. Most important, it makes us live.
